Anna Kecskés

Anna Kecskés is a Hungarian Children's Book Illustrator living in North West London for over 20 years.
She studied in Hungary, and became a Teacher of Art and Visual Communication at Nyiregyhaza Univerisity. After graduating, and teaching for a year, she moved to the UK, and worked in education.

Anna has worked on over 45 books, mainly published in Hungary, but has also worked on UK based publications too.

After having 2 boys, she decided to go back to illustrating children’s books .
She loves to include detail  in her work. She mainly draws and paints using watercolour, though she likes her art work to be touched up digitally and draws using her digital pad too.

Anna is always open to new projects and looks forward to challenges.

Anna likes cooking and baking, reading books about psychology and having long walks with her Saluki (persian greyhound) in nature.

In 2021 a Saluki puppy joined Anna’s family, she has been painting hound portraits ever since.
